Yes Yes It’s Time To Get With It. What Up Fam? Been putting in work these days. Linked up with some Asheville MC’s and can’t wait to hear how some of the songs are looking. Shout out to Asheville, NC. My Home Town. Last time I was there, the Hip Hop vibe was different. It felt better. I remember a time when trying to rock back in Asheville, all the other Hip Hopers didn’t want to do anything with anyone. It would be a select few, who you know, and was cool. Now everyone is coming together. I like what I see. I like how everyone is putting there ego aside and letting Hip Hop run through Asheville. Its a good look and a good feeling. Happy to see this going on in my Home Town. Peace!

New Projects.

I bet a lot of people are wondering why nothing has been posted on here for a while. Its ok. I’m still here. Making music and getting sessions together. My buddy hit me up the other day and has asked me to do sound production for his animation video. Its a cool 9m film. Very excited on this project. It’s going to take me back on my college days. For people who don’t really know me, sound design is something I am very into. I actually like the whole process of sound design. It’s work but you gotta love it to do it. Also, working on another project for a buddy that is in film. He’s going to be traveling around the US and wants me to provide him with some instrumentals. Time to show case some skills. Martin Snoddy and Mikey Kotz project is in its last stage. Speaker Pimps (we leave you limp) is working on a small project to drop. I think just a couple of more sessions and then its on to the mixing process. As you can see, Mikey Kotz has been working hard. Will keep you posted. In the mean time, check out the sound PIMPS!

Info: Production Life, New Project,

Man I’m feeling lazy these days. I’m working hard on music but not on the production side. I am happy to announce about Martin and I’s new project. I’m just putting the final touches on it. Just like every project I have worked on, I’ll be taking off the production side for about a month. I hate doing that. I feel like I’m actually not doing anything. I love the production side of things. It’s where I feel at home. When I don’t work on an instrumental, I feel like I’m slacking. I hate that feeling. But on the good note, I will be polishing up the project. I don’t want to hype it up, but its dope. It’s an EP. I’m happy with that. Martin is probably my favorite artist to work with. The guy is a genius when it comes to music. He’s got everything on point. He knows what he wants and can see the final project sounding a certain way. Some artist out there, they just do the lyric thing and then leave it at that. Not Martin! He takes the extra time for each song. He actually works on it. The guy can annoy the hell out of me. Trust me, it happens. But this cat is a professional.

Medit8 on the name of “Speaker P!mps”

As most of you should know by now, I am in a crew called “Speaker P!mps”. We have gotten a lot of feed back from it. Yes we all know about the group called “Sneaker Pimps” and congrats to them for all their success. On that note, we are a Hip Hop crew storming the ATL area and parts of AVL NC. Here is Medit8′s thoughts on it. I agree with him on every point.

“I apologize to all those who misinterpret the name of my MUSIC crew, The SPEAKER P!MPS; I don’t view it as derogatory, however I can see how others might. It is (in my mind) simply a metaphor for the manipulation of sound, and the pursuit of money through music. Making money is not why I make music (obviously : P), I make music to cope with my own emotions & in hopes to move listeners to feel/relate to the feelings I get through music. I believe that The SPEAKER P!MPS name is simply a humorous & witty title, which reflects a brighter light onto a dark subject.
